The Global Sales & Services Technology (GSST) organization empowers Sales and Services teams through innovative technology and analytics solutions, driving collaboration, productivity to drive up NCVI. GSST operates as an integrated, agile team, standardizing technology solutions, leveraging AI, and fostering a culture of trust and transparency. 

 

About the Role 
This newly created, high-visibility role is pivotal in shaping Gartner’s technology product management and platform strategy for Sales and Services. The MVP will lead strategic product management for Territory and Service Request systems, platform operations, and value capture for CRM and AI technology investments supporting 10,000+ Sales & Services users. Working across business, technology, data, and operations teams, this individual will help ensure investments are prioritized, adopted, measured, and continuously enhanced to drive productivity, client engagement, retention, and growth.  

 

Success in this role requires a strong blend of product management leadership, strategy, stakeholder influence, and analytics, ensuring Gartner's technology ecosystem delivers measurable business outcomes and exceptional user experiences. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Strategic Product Management: 
    Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for Sales and Services Territory and Service Request automation, ensuring alignment with Gartner’s business priorities and measurable outcomes. Leverage emerging AI innovations to build compelling territory design tools. 

  • Platform Operations Leadership: 
    Oversee a multi-disciplinary team delivering L1 support for Salesforce and AI tools, product management for the ISR Tool, and security/compliance for the Salesforce platform and AI tools. 

  • AI & Technology Innovation: 
    Champion the implementation of AI and emerging technologies to drive productivity, simplify workflows, and deliver innovative solutions across core territory tools, platform operations, ISR and end-user support. 

  • Value Capture & Impact Measurement: 
    Build and operationalize frameworks to quantify the ROI of CRM and AI investments, partnering with stakeholders to maximize value realization. 

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: 
    Serve as a trusted advisor, collaborating with Sales, Services, Analytics, IT and Change Management leaders to drive technology adoption, integrated experiences, and business agility. 

  • Team Leadership & Development: 
    Inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across product management, platform operations, and value capture, fostering a culture of innovation and strategic thinking. 

 

Core Teams Under MVP 

1. Territory Product Management: 
Leads product management for Sales and Services Territory automation  

2. Platform Operations: 

  • L1 support for Salesforce and AI tools 

  • Product management for the ISR Tool 

  • Security and compliance for Salesforce  

3. Value Capture of Technology Investments: 
New function to measure the quantitative impact of CRM and AI investments 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • 12+ years’ progressive experience in areas of technology, product management, operations, digital transformation or related fields 

  • Proven track record in leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact 

  • Ability to translate business strategy, user needs, and market trends into compelling product roadmaps and platform investments. 

  • Experience with CRM, Salesforce, and AI tools; understanding of enterprise security and compliance. 

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, scale, and optimize digital and AI-enabled solutions that drive operational efficiency and business growth. 

  • Strategic, analytical mindset and ability to translate business needs into technology solutions 

  • Expertise building and leading product organizations that leverage Agile principles, experimentation, user feedback, and continuous delivery. 

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams 

  • Experience in consulting, transformation, strategy, or enterprise change initiatives is highly preferred, with demonstrated success driving impact through influence rather than direct authority. 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 208,000 USD - 261,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
