About this role:
The MVP of Operations and Analytics - Global Digital Markets (GDM) will play a critical role in shaping the strategy and priorities for the GDM function and will act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the GDM SLT. They will use strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills to aid the EVP with the daily operations of the function. Will be responsible for leading and developing the Operations and Analytics teams.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee key initiatives. Organize and support the annual Long-Range Planning efforts.
- Lead preparation and development of executive-level meeting material and presentations, including monthly presentations for the operating committee; represent the function at key leadership meetings
- Connect the dots - partner across GDM to ensure each function stays aligned with overall GDM strategy and initiatives; collaborate with others to stay abreast of initiatives that impact GDM
- Develop metrics to track the success of programs and operating metrics.
- Lead core business analytics and sales operations functions
- Partner with senior leadership to define priorities and align resources for implementing analytics solutions based on business needs. Deliver key capabilities through reporting, dashboards, self-serve tools, and drive continuous improvement in analytics across GDM and Gartner.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support strategic recommendations and ensure they are grounded in core business economics
- Drive complex projects aligned to high priority business objectives in close partnership with business leaders across the organization.
- Lead strategic projects from strategy development to iterative execution.
- Identify best-practices that can be scaled across teams.
- Leverage understanding of financials levers to drive initiatives which optimize financial performance.
- Partner with EVP GDM and finance to develop annual budgets and forecast top line revenue for annual plans and intra-year forecasts.
What you’ll need:
- 15+ years’ progressive business experience
- Leverage understanding of financials levers to drive initiatives which optimize financial performance.
- Excellent business vision, strategic mindset and ability to think creatively to draw the larger business story out of facts and data.
- Qualitative and quantitative unstructured problem-solving, including ability to turn analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compelling executive-level presentations – conveying complex concepts and analyses in an accessible way.
- Good level of influence at senior leadership level including strong negotiation & communication skills
- Strong people leadership and management skills
- Ability to inspire rapid adoption of change.
- Proven ability to scale, demonstrated by a track record of mastering exponentially greater levels of responsibility, complexity and performance over time.
- Knowledge of operations strategy, trends, issues and data analysis to deliver against business objectives; ability to use judgment to analyze and evaluate varying factors to find solutions
- Ideal candidate has an understanding of the industry

- Highly competent user of Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 184,000 USD - 255,990 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
