The Artist Operations Coordinator will provide support to the client’s music artist community in the UK. The Coordinator will work with our client’s operations leads, marketing, and artist teams to execute artist requests and deliveries. They will participate in the release cycle of new albums, including syncing physical and digital product, marketing, digital assets for streaming and online platforms, and delivering info to all rights and publishing organizations. This is a hybrid role based in London, and will spend 3 days onsite at two office locations.
Responsibilities
- Review music and video assets to ensure compliance with style guidelines provided by the client
- Oversee video queues, content approval, and video and audio uploads to relevant platforms
- Manage video content claims and disputes
- Handle Neighboring Rights Organizations conflict resolutions
- Handle mechanical licensing and other publishing registration processes for client
- Identify and correct publishing issues, including metadata
- Expertly curate Classical works metadata per guidelines
- Triage administrative work, including legal questions, for our client
- Monitor and triage project concerns, filing bug reports where needed
- Communicate regularly with internal team members and the client
- Special projects and additional tasks as assigned
Required Experience
- Experience working with talent and their teams, where expectation setting and reliable delivery is key
- 2 years experience working for a label, distributor or DSP (digital service provider)
- Experience with delivery to streaming services and video content platforms
- Experience working with metadata as it related to DSPs
- Comfortable with data and driving results through KPIs
- Expert knowledge of classical music
- An understanding of digital music production, including the people, systems and metadata required to support it
- Passion for contemporary Pop, Soul/RnB, African and Hip Hop and genres
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with enterprise-level metadata systems is a plus
- Skilled with Excel, Numbers and/or similar analytical / visualization applications
- Publishing experience
