We are seeking an experienced Murex Front Office Subject Matter Expert (FO SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Murex solutions, specifically in the front office area (trading, pricing, risk management). The FO SME will work closely with traders, risk managers, and IT teams to optimize Murex systems and ensure smooth functionality for trading desks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level support for Murex front office modules, including trading, pricing, and risk management for various asset classes (fixed income, FX, derivatives, commodities, etc.).
- Assist in the configuration and optimization of Murex to ensure it aligns with business requirements and operational needs.
- Work with front office stakeholders (traders, portfolio managers) to gather business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and implement solutions in Murex.
- Lead or support testing efforts, including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring new features, functionalities, or enhancements work as expected.
- Provide expert troubleshooting for Murex-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Mentor junior team members and provide training to internal stakeholders on Murex platform functionalities.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and end-to-end process flow.
- Stay informed of new releases and updates to Murex, evaluating their relevance and managing the implementation of upgrades/enhancements.
