Murex Developer (Back Office)

Information Security Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
• Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Role and Responsibilities

• Configure and support Murex Back Office modules, including settlements, confirmations, and accounting
• Design, develop, and maintain MxML workflows to support trade lifecycle events
• Manage and maintain static data, payment instructions, and cash flow generation processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management and a wide range of financial products, including FX, IRD, and Fixed Income
• Familiarity with settlement systems, SWIFT messaging, and accounting rules
• Proven experience in implementing and supporting Murex v3.1 Back Office capabilities
• Excellent knowledge of capital markets products and processes, with a comprehensive understanding of front-to-back trade flows
• Strong grasp of financial markets, trading, and banking solutions
• Experience working in Agile environments, with proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence
