Murex Consultant (Reporting)
We are looking for Poland based candidate.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Murex Reporting Specialist to support the design, development, and maintenance of reporting solutions within the Murex platform. The ideal candidate will combine strong Murex expertise with a solid understanding of financial data, regulatory requirements, and reporting frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain reports within the Murex platform (MX.3)
- Work with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements
- Build and enhance reports using Murex Datamart and reporting tools
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reconciliation across reports
- Support regulatory and internal reporting (e.g. risk, P&L, finance, compliance)
- Optimize reporting performance and data extraction processes
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide ongoing support
- Participate in UAT, system upgrades, and release cycles
- Maintain documentation of reporting solutions and data mappings
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Murex (MX.3), particularly in reporting
- Solid experience with Murex Datamart (MDCS), reporting cubes, and extraction layers
- Good understanding of financial products (e.g. derivatives, FX, rates)
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
- Knowledge of data models, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
- Understanding of regulatory and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments
Nice to Have:
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Knowledge of Python or scripting languages
- Experience with Murex upgrades or implementations
- Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
