- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform mobile application automation testing using Appium across Android and iOS platforms.
- Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Playwright for web applications.
- Utilize Core Java and TypeScript to develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to understand application requirements and testing objectives.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues with clear documentation.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall testing processes.
- Debug automation scripts, troubleshoot failures, and maintain existing automation frameworks.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, defect triage, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Ensure adherence to testing standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in software testing, with hands-on exposure to test automation.
- Hands-on experience in mobile automation testing using Appium.
- Experience in Playwright for web application automation.
- Strong programming knowledge of Core Java and/or TypeScript, with practical experience using both preferred.
- Understanding of automation frameworks, test script development, execution, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, and integration testing concepts.
- Familiarity with defect tracking, test case management, and debugging automation failures.
- Understanding of web and mobile application testing methodologies.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
