We need an experienced Multimedia Specialist at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Research & Development (R&D) - Medical Research and Development Command (MRDC). DHA R&D-MRDC is a global command supporting medical research for warfighter’s unique requirements. This division provides strategic communications, public affairs, marketing, and multimedia support to the PAO. In this role, you will capture and edit photos and video, produce topic-centric packages for briefs, websites, trade shows, and social channels, and maintain multimedia catalogs. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Strategic Communications to generate topic-centric videos for PowerPoint, YouTube, trade shows, website, and more
- Capture high-quality, compelling photographs at official events; edit and deliver files in a timely manner
- Maintain the ability to take well-composed photos while covering events; conduct basic photo editing and select best images for articles and social posts; capture headshots for senior leaders and command team as required
- Capture high-quality, compelling videos; edit and deliver files in a timely manner
- Capture video interviews with SMEs and additional B-roll from visits, events, and scenarios
- Propose new content ideas with contractor and Government teammates to highlight command research initiatives
- Maintain an internal catalog of video content for reuse across products
- Maintain and populate social media sites with militarily relevant content in coordination with Strategic Communications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated experience supporting DoD customers
- Familiarization with AI Tools – preferred
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud
EDUCATON
- Degree in communication-related fields - preferred

- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to pass DoD background check
