The Multimedia Content Specialist II, under the direction of leadership, will execute the end-to-end creation of video and audio content intended for internal and external distribution. This includes but is not limited to, setup, recording, editing, motion graphics, and exporting to the proper formats for final delivery.Key Responsibilities

The Multimedia Content Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create captivating video content, digital assets, and photography to showcase our services and tell our brand story
  • Facilitate setup and recording for single- and multi-camera video productions, including camera, lighting, teleprompter, and microphone placement
  • Facilitate setup and recording for live and virtual audio productions (e.g., podcast recordings)
  • Operate equipment for multi-camera live productions, including, but not limited to, cameras, microphones, video switchers, etc.
  • Implement the project vision in post-production by editing video and audio content through to completion to meet pre-established deadlines, including motion graphics design, color correction, audio sweetening, and final asset creation while maintaining the existing style, look, and feel of video and audio content
  • Shape raw footage into compelling narratives that captivate audiences
  • Coordinate, manage, and reinforce the company brand and voice in digital assets, including video, motion graphics, and audio for the website, social media and other platforms
  • Utilize multiple video and audio codecs during editing and exporting while adhering to the specifications of multiple digital delivery platforms
  • Assist with scriptwriting for video and audio productions on an as-needed basis

Skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in media production, communication arts, or a similar field, or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years’ experience in video and audio production
  • Skilled in Adobe Premiere and Audition
  • Skilled in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Skilled with 4k DSLR cameras, microphones, and video and audio recording methodologies and best practices, including lighting and camera setup
  • Knowledgeable in OBS (Open Broadcaster Software)
  • Knowledgeable in Blackmagic ATEM Switchers and other associated Blackmagic hardware 
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Mastery of storytelling through visual media
  • Strong knowledge of design principles
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced creative environment, learn rapidly, and adapt to new video technologies and techniques
  • Must be able to lift, setup, and operate equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Additional Details

  • This position is office-based at Nordic’s Madison, WI location
  • Travel may be required based on business initiative
