Job Description

As a senior member of our team, you will consult with management on efforts and processes for overseeing customer network development and customer support activities, work directly with lenders to develop their capabilities to deliver loans to Fannie Mae, and support customer engagement opportunities.

  • Building strong relationships with multifamily owners and DUS lenders by developing customized financing strategies and delivering best‑in‑class customer service.
  • Partner with credit, legal, risk, and servicing teams to structure transactions that balance mission and market objectives with sound credit principles.
  • Providing guidance and recommendations on promoting and selling Fannie Mae's products and services.
  • Providing subject matter expertise, best practices, and recommendations to management.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experience

  • 8 years relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of Fannie Mae multifamily products and DUS/GSE underwriting standards
  • Ability to deliver training on complex products and processes and support internal and external learning
  • Demonstrates curiosity and adaptability by learning and responsibly applying new techniques, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, strong client relationship management, and ability to offer solutions to complex issues
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for communicating complex transactions to senior leadership and other internal stakeholders
  • Adept at delivering clear and concise presentations tailored to diverse stakeholder audiences
