Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service including efficient and accurate transaction processing. Individuals in this role must proactively identify bank products and services that meet the needs of potential and existing customers, always seeking opportunities to deliver outstanding service and make a positive impression.

Successful candidates for this position will have a proven history of opening and maintaining accounts and certificates of deposit and corresponding paperwork. This role requires demonstrated ability to answer complex account inquiries, provide accurate product information and strict attention to detail in completed all required account forms and documentation.

Essential Functions

• Greeting customers and facilitating a welcoming and customer-focused environment
• Processing customer transactions efficiently and accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer  
• Generating new business and expanding relationships with current customers by cross-selling bank products and services that benefit each customer, primarily through platform account operations
• Responding to customer inquiries and concerns by researching and identifying positive solutions
• Responsible for opening and maintaining commercial and consumer checking and savings accounts, as well as certificates of deposit. Answer customer questions, provide account opening information, and ensures that all proper paperwork is completed
• Reviews and resolves account issues listed on exception reports

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• 6 months customer service and cash handling required
• Direct experience opening and maintaining consumer checking, savings, and certificate of deposit (CD) accounts is required
• Familiarity with opening and maintaining commercial accounts is preferred but not required
• Strong computer and 10 key skills
• Careful attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills, including oral and written communication skills

Other Requirements

• Must reside in Oklahoma and pass a background and credit check
• This is an in-office position, and it is critical to remain available to team members during business hours
• May have intermittent local travel to other locations for meetings, training opportunities and bank events
