Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Multi-Modality Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging department at the Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, FL. This is a PRN position.
At Baptist, our Multi-Modality Technologists routinely work in two or more specialties, performing diagnostic exams at a technical level, as well as clerical duties, including record-keeping, and are dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to our community. This Multi-Modality Technologist requires the ability to multitask and ensure high-quality imaging is performed while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Multi-Modality Technologist Responsibilities:
- Candidate is trained and competent in two or more diagnostic imaging modalities.
- Candidate agrees to work part of their scheduled hours in each area.
- Areas of competence must include Radiology, plus CT, interventional procedures, or Mammography.
- May be required to participate in taking calls for either or both areas.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
Experience Requirements:
- 1-2 years Experience in one other imaging modality
- 1-2 years Customer Service Experience
Education & Credential Requirements:
- Vocational School
- Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required Or
- Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required Or
- Registered Technologist in Breast Sonography – ARRT Or
- Registered Technologist in Vascular-Interventional Radiography ARRT (VI) - ARRT Or
- Licensed Medical Imaging Technologist – ARRT Or
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required Or
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Primary Location:

- Vocational school education
- Competency in at least two diagnostic imaging modalities
- Radiology competency plus CT, interventional procedures, or mammography competency
- 1-2 years of experience in another imaging modality
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- One applicable imaging credential: ARRT Radiography, ARRT Computed Tomography, ARRT Breast Sonography, ARRT Vascular-Interventional Radiography, Licensed Medical Imaging Technologist ARRT, or Certified Radiologic Technologist
- Basic Life Support certification
- Compliance with mandatory education and health requirements
