Protolabs is seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Specialist to bring our brand, products, and customer stories to life through compelling video and photography.
This is a hands-on, production-focused role for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys balancing high-quality storytelling with efficient, deadline-driven execution.
You’ll play a key role in producing multimedia content that supports product marketing, demand generation, digital acquisition, and PR efforts, while helping evolve our in-house creative capabilities.
What You Will Do
- Lead end-to-end video and photography production: concept support, planning, shooting, and post-production
- Produce a range of content including:
- Product and part photography
- Social and digital content (quick-turn assets)
- Customer case studies and storytelling videos (higher production)
- Internal communications and PR content
- Edit and finalize assets using industry-standard tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
- Ensure all deliverables align with brand standards and campaign objectives Studio & Equipment Management
- Manage and maintain in-house studio operations, including cameras, lighting, audio, and editing systems
- Organize multimedia assets and ensure efficient workflows Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Digital teams to translate campaign goals into effective visual content
- Participate in creative briefings and provide execution-focused input
- Build strong working relationships through reliability, communication, and delivery Project & Time Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across varying timelines
- Balance quick-turn production needs with higher-production storytelling work
- Communicate timelines, scope, and priorities clearly with stakeholders
What It Takes
- 3+ years of professional video and photography production experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating technical and creative capabilities
- Proficiency with:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- Photoshop
- Hands-on experience with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently
- Strong balance of creative eye and business mindset
