Role - Multimedia Account Executive (MMAE)
Join our team at Adams Multimedia of Ohio and build a rewarding career in local media and advertising. We’re looking for a motivated Account Executive to serve businesses in Athens, OH and the surrounding areas. This position is based in our Athens, OH office.
This is an outside sales role offering a competitive base salary plus guaranteed commission on every dollar sold. Depending on success, annual on-target earnings will exceed $60,000, with additional upside for top performers.
What You’ll Do:
As the face of Adams Multimedia in the community, you’ll work closely with local businesses to create impactful advertising solutions. You’ll represent a full portfolio of hyper-local marketing products, including:
- Digital marketing services
- Local print advertising
- Sponsorships and brand partnerships
- Ticketing solutions
- Events and custom promotions
You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll have full support from our in-house marketing agency, along with experienced leadership focused on helping you succeed. To set you up for success from day one, you’ll also receive a pre-established book of business to jump-start your earnings.

Responsibilities:
- Prospect and pursue new business opportunities
- Respond to client inquiries and develop customized advertising solutions
- Research leads through multiple channels, including referrals
- Collaborate with customers to align solutions with their goals and budgets
- Recommend campaign enhancements and upgrades
- Maintain accurate client records for ongoing sales and follow-ups
- Build, execute and manage a campaign.
- Provide insightful reporting calls on all targeted digital campaigns.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in an outside sales role
- Ability to run effective discovery conversations
- Resilient mindset and willingness to push through rejection
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Gmail, Google Drive, and Mac-based products
- Reside in Dane County or the immediate surrounding area (on-site role; not remote or hybrid)
