We are seeking an experienced Multi-Cloud Engineer to support highly secure cloud and systems environments with stringent data protection requirements. This position combines cloud engineering, system administration, software development, scripting, and network expertise to maintain and enhance complex mission-critical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, cloud-based networking, Linux system administration, API integrations, automation, and multiple programming and scripting languages. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, maintaining systems, automating operational processes, and supporting secure data environments.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer, administer, and maintain cloud-based environments with very high data security requirements
  • Support AWS cloud services and integrate applications and systems through APIs
  • Perform Linux system administration, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Perform operating system patching, server installations, firmware upgrades, and testing between firmware and patch levels
  • Develop scripts and automation using Python, C++, Perl, Windows shell, and related technologies
  • Support cloud engineering activities, including automated DynamoDB table updates
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud platform, infrastructure, operating system, and application issues
  • Provide technical input and recommendations for troubleshooting tools and operational improvements
  • Support Linux and Android operating system environments
  • Develop and maintain software and system components using Python and C++
  • Assist with the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of secure cloud-based networks
  • Collaborate with technical teams to maintain system availability, security, and operational performance
  • Document configurations, troubleshooting procedures, system changes, and technical solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Must be fully cleared with a recent polygraph
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud-based networks operating under very high data security requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS and cloud services, including API configurations and integrations
  • Experience with programming languages and environments including:
    • Python
    • C++
    • Linux
    • Windows shell
    • Experience with operating systems including Linux and Android
    • Experience with scripting languages including Python, C++, and Perl
    • Strong Linux system administration experience, including RHEL
    • Experience performing system patching, server installations, firmware upgrades, and testing across firmware and patch levels
    • Hands-on cloud engineering experience
    • Experience automating DynamoDB table updates
    • Experience troubleshooting cloud platforms and complex infrastructure issues
    • Ability to evaluate and recommend troubleshooting tools and technical solutions

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with analog and digital communications, including satellite, terrestrial television, AM, and FM radio
  • Experience with video codecs and streaming technologies
  • Experience with video encoding equipment and associated processes
  • Experience supporting specialized broadcast systems, radio systems, or television and radio signal devices
  • Experience with IP network routing and switching
  • Experience installing, configuring, and operating broadcast equipment
  • Experience supporting scalable or portable remote communications systems
