Job Duties: Create innovative Android experiences while leveraging enterprise APIs. Deliver holistic and innovative experiences to the applications customers and move the bar on the industry standard. Evangelize, mentor, and promote mobile development best practices throughout the company. Identify project risks, quantify risk and benefit relationships, and provide alternative solutions, as well as risk mitigation. Collaborate with product management, product development, quality, and user experience research teams to design and give functional and technical direction. Utilize experience with and knowledge of DB automation scripting, databases (SQL), O/R mapping, design-patterns, continuous delivery and integration, and Linux. Generate commercial-quality Android applications using Compose, Kotlin, Java, user-interface programming, TDD, clean code, and testing at all levels (unit, integration, and acceptance), and refactoring. Telecommuting permitted – work can be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the field of software engineering or program analysis. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the field of software engineering or program analysis.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
