We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (Oncology), offices based in Breda, the Netherlands.
In this exciting role as Medical Science Liaison (MSL) within our Johnson & Johnson Medical Affairs Solid Tumor team you are responsible for discussing our products, providing fair balanced, objective, scientific information and education to healthcare professionals (HCPs) on a peer-to-peer basis and to internal partners, as required by scientific and business needs. The MSL is accountable for the execution of the activities described in the country-specific Medical Affairs (MAF) tactical plan.

Reports to: Medical Therapeutic Area Lead (MTAL) of the Dutch medical team active in the assigned therapeutic area. The MTAL provides functional line management to MSLs including setting objectives, coaching and performance review.
Your key responsibilities:
- Therapeutic area scientific expert: serve as resource for scientific information, clinical research activity, healthcare landscape and emerging scientific trends within therapeutic area, with demonstration of continuously updated knowledge in these key areas
- Stakeholder management: be recognized by stakeholders as the single-point-of-contact at Johnson & Johnson and within the industry for scientific exchange (data generation, treatment paradigm, etcetera)
- Data generation activities: collaborate with clinical operations and clinical research organizations (CROs) in feasibility, site selection, management and issue resolution for R&D clinical trials and Real World Data studies and projects
- Data dissemination activities: use digital technologies and new media to support medical education activities and proactive and reactive communication

- Scientific degree: medical doctor, pharmacist or degree in biomedical/scientific sciences (with MD/PhD being an additional asset)
- Proficient in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry or equal proven experience
- Understanding of scientific research, clinical trial design/conduct and clinical data
- Strong communication skills for peer-to-peer discussion of data (e.g. study results)
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to translate data into relevant information for clinical practice and for patients
- Strong collaborative mindset, team player mentality with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to focus and prioritize when needed and driven by execution

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€57.500,00 - €91.310,00Benefits:
