Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) is one of the largest global asset management organizations of any full-service securities firm, with more than 40 years of history, a presence in 26 countries, and a total of $2 trillion in assets under management as of June 30, 2026. MSIM strives to provide outstanding long-term investment performance, service, and a comprehensive suite of investment management solutions to a diverse client base, which includes governments, institutions, corporations, and individuals worldwide. Morgan Stanley Growth & Innovation (“MSGI”) is an MSIM strategy targeting late-stage, growth equity investments in scaled, private, high-growth companies operating in fast-growing technology sectors. MSGI’s inaugural fund, North Haven Growth & Innovation (“NHGIF” or the “Fund”) closed on $1.3 billion of capital commitments in an oversubscribed offering in which Morgan Stanley, its affiliates, and employees collectively committed 24% of the Fund’s capital. MSGI sits under the broader Private Credit & Equity (PC&E) platform with over 300 professionals globally managing approximately $62Bn of client capital across direct private equity and private-credit strategies.

Since launch, the Fund has already invested in Databricks, Anduril and Ramp, among others. MSGI targets category-defining companies operating in large addressable markets with significant long-term compounding potential. The Fund seeks to leverage the Integrated Firm, bringing together capabilities across Morgan Stanley's Investment Management, Institutional Securities and Wealth Management divisions, and drawing on the breadth of the Firm's relationships across the private growth ecosystem.

This is a unique opportunity to join a lean and entrepreneurial investment team at an inflection point for the platform, helping deploy capital into category-defining private technology companies while contributing to the continued buildout of a differentiated growth equity fund within Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

MSIM is looking for an Associate/Vice President to work directly with senior investors and decision-makers and serve as a key contributor throughout the lifecycle of investing, including the evaluation of investment opportunities, conducting in-depth sector analysis, developing and analyzing financial projections and valuations, and monitoring portfolio companies post investment.

  • Build financial models for company projections and transaction scenarios
  • Produce investment memoranda and support materials on investment opportunities
  • Coordinate with advisors and consultants on due diligence items
