The M365 Copilot Support Analyst will support the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) with Microsoft 365 Copilot operations, administration, and end-user support. This role supports TxDOT's ITD Service Governance team and provides operational support, troubleshooting, and user assistance for Microsoft 365 Copilot. The analyst will also support Microsoft 365 configuration and administration activities in coordination with platform administrators. In addition, the role develops and maintains documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials, while evaluating new Copilot capabilities, releases, and Microsoft roadmap enhancements. This position is placed through Texas GovLink, Inc., a staffing vendor supporting Texas government technology clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support for Microsoft 365 Copilot, including incident resolution, issue troubleshooting, and user assistance.
- Support configuration and administration activities within the Microsoft 365 environment in coordination with platform administrators.
- Develop and maintain user documentation, knowledge base articles, training materials, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate and test new Copilot capabilities, releases, and Microsoft roadmap enhancements.
- Provide recommendations for implementation and support readiness of new Copilot features.
- Deliver end-user support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 Copilot related issues.
- Assist with adoption and readiness activities related to Microsoft 365 and AI-enabled enterprise tools.
- Communicate technical information clearly to a diverse base of end users.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of experience understanding Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio capabilities, licensing, governance, and security concepts.
- 2 years of experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms and end-user technologies.
- 2 years of experience demonstrating strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- 2 years of experience applying knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI principles, data protection, and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience developing technical training materials.
- 2 years of experience delivering technical training to diverse user groups.
- Experience supporting adoption and readiness for Microsoft 365 or AI-enabled enterprise tools.
