About the Role

This position is focused on providing personalized “white-glove” service to end users, with a strong emphasis on supporting and managing enterprise collaboration platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of video conferencing, A/V, and unified communications solutions, including Microsoft Teams, Cisco, and other platforms. The role requires a multi-faceted skill set, including deep expertise in Microsoft Teams engineering and administration for conference rooms, telephony, chat, and related services.

Key Responsibilities

• Microsoft Teams Enterprise Management:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft Teams, overseeing deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of Teams across the enterprise
  • Manage Teams Rooms systems, including hardware integration, software updates, and troubleshooting for conference rooms
  • Administer Teams Phone System, including call routing, number assignment, voicemail, and integration with PSTN and third-party telephony providers
  • Oversee Teams chat management, including security policies, retention, compliance, and user support
  • Monitor Teams usage, performance, and analytics to ensure optimal user experience and system reliability
  • Implement and maintain Teams governance, security, and compliance policies in alignment with organizational standards
  • Coordinate with Microsoft and certified vendors for escalations, updates, and advanced troubleshooting

• General Telemedia & A/V Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily quality assurance activities to ensure uptime and standardization across all collaboration platforms
  • Manage complex escalations and provide expert troubleshooting for video, A/V, and unified communications environments
  • Oversee Telemedia video projects, including documentation, scheduling, and stakeholder communication
  • Maintain thorough understanding of associated products, including Zoom, Cisco Webex, and streaming applications
  • Facilitate training sessions for team members and end users on collaboration tools and best practices
  • Regularly inspect conference rooms and A/V environments to ensure compliance with Telemedia standards
  • Support network troubleshooting, including Cisco routers/switches (Layer 2 & 3), firewall basics, and wireless protocols
  • Manage service requests, incidents, and projects using ServiceNow and Jira

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in enterprise collaboration environments, with direct experience managing Microsoft Teams deployments for conference rooms, phones, and chat
  • Microsoft M365 Teams Administrator Certified Engineer (MS-700) or equivalent certification
  • Strong working knowledge of A/V, video conferencing (Cisco), networking, and unified collaboration system technologies
  • Excellent analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 11.x or above
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Lucid Charts, ServiceNow, and other productivity tools

• Preferred:

  • Experience with Teams API integration for automation, reporting, and custom workflows
  • Understanding of Citrix VDI environments
  • Experience in application software deployment management
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Teams administration, automation, and bulk management tasks.
  • CCNA or higher (Route Switch and/or Collaboration)
  • CTS certification.
  • Experience with VMWare and virtualization technologies.

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.


Salary Range: $ 100,000.00 - $ 135,000.00
