Job Summary

Working within the strategic framework set-out by the Director of Digital Development and Operations  the CRM Software Engineer will play a leading role in Convatec’s drive to provide a World-Class Customer Experience through Digital Channels. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Researching, designing, implementing, documenting and managing software programs,
• Testing and evaluating new programs,
• Working closely with other members of the cross funtional team,
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications,
• Writing and implementing efficient code,
• Determining operational practicality,
• Developing quality assurance procedures,
• Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics,
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems,
• Attending to Agile Ceremonies,
• Training users.

Skills & Experiences required

• Development experience in at least last 2 to 3 years and creating entities, fields, data types, relationships.
• CRM customizations by writing .net code plugins, JavaScript.
• Used tools like JIRA, github tools.
• Understand all aspects of configuration of CRM (Forms, Views, Grid controls, Customizing Menus etc.)
• Ability to work with external tools like XRMToolbox, SSIS etc.
• Microsoft certifications are good plus (not mandatory)

Must have
 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills,
• Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with all members in a manner that engages all stakeholder groups
• Good knowledge of Agile methodology and principles by regularly learning it
• Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle,
• Graduate degree in computers or business discipline
• Consultative approach with blend of pragmatism and assertiveness,
• Fluency in English,

Nice to have

• Good understanding of Product Management,
• Good knowledge of DevOps principles,
• Skilled in Agile tools – Jira, Confluence, Azure Dev/Ops
• Experience creating a raft of digital products that deliver a coherent customer experience
• Background contributing to the delivery of digital services
• Experience of Digital Healthcare solutions would be beneficial
• Naturally curious and keen to discover what your users need
• Worked in a multi-cultural and international environment.
