POSITION SUMMARY:
The role is responsible for managing incoming inquiries, from our internal Wealth BDMs as well as external wealth partners. Building a book of present- and future-day opportunities. Exercising proactive lead management and consultative selling to convert these B2C opportunities into HomeEquity Bank clients. Performance will be measured against quarterly and annual quotas and rewarded with a competitive base salary, commissions, and a graduated bonus potential program in addition to extensive benefits program to create a highly competitive compensation package that will be attractive to top-performers.
In addition to managing incoming leads this role engages directly with the Wealth Partner community to understand their needs and act as a reverse mortgage expert by initiating and managing sales conversations along with building relationships in the wealth space.
MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE
Responsible for the client-facing sales interactions of our Wealth Channel leads while working collaboratively with our Internal Wealth BDMs to convert opportunities
Maintain and grow relationships within the Wealth community via outbound call activities
Manage assigned partner relationships via Salesforce
Knowledge and understanding must be translated into a positive client experience, pairing client need with appropriate HomeEquity Bank solutions
Proactive management of CRM and lead mining
Continuous learning- product knowledge, selling skills and relationship management techniques
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Qualifications and Technical Expertise:
Progressive financial services Inside Sales experience
Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM
Requires a thorough understanding of the Bank’s entire mortgage product suite and business processes
Post-secondary education or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated experience in consultative sales with particular emphasis selling over the phone
Knowledge of the financial services industry is required

Results oriented with an understanding of the current financial services environment
The ability to deliver against established sales targets
Exceptional communication skills, particularly telephone selling skills and etiquette to effectively manage the sales process for existing clients
A passion for relationship building and business development
Ability to self-manage within a “pay for performance” compensation model
Superior sales and interpersonal skills while embracing a team-oriented culture
Strong organizational and time management skills
