We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Mortgage Processor at our Corporate Office in Grand Rapids, MI. United Bank is searching for driven individuals who are profoundly detailed, along with focused on helping our customers by meeting their mortgage loan objectives. Whether you have several years of experience or are new to the mortgage industry, we would love to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.

The Mortgage Processor position is a fundamental position at United Bank. Mortgage Processors have the important role of providing detailed support to the Mortgage Loan Officers, along with building and keeping relationships with our customers. This includes collecting and verifying all proper documentation in preparation for processing and closing mortgage loans. You are responsible for the finite details on the loan documentation, including legal descriptions, dates, signatures, and qualification standards. You will also be a liaison between the customer and the loan officer, assisting them with questions, attaining proper documentation, and scheduling closings. You will also be responsible for areas of compliance as it relates to your position and may be assigned special projects or additional duties.

This position requires:

  • One year certificate for a college or technical school;
  • 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training;
  • Regular sitting;
  • Utilizing hands & arms;
  • Ability to talk & hear.
