Skills Required
- 2+ years of Mortgage Retail Sales experience or equivalent experience, training, military experience, or education
- SAFE registration at the time of employment
- Meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Loan Originator qualification requirements
- Meet financial responsibility, character, financial fitness, and criminal background standards
- Pass ongoing regulatory screening and background investigation requirements
- Ability to lift 20+ pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Documented retail residential mortgage fundings during the past 12 months
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Mortgage industry experience
- Knowledge of sales prospecting and referral generation
- Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships
- Customer service experience
