Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding position in a fast paced environment. At Cambria Mortgage we are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and making the home lending process straightforward and easy. As a result of our continuing expansion, we are looking for professional, experience loan originators to represent Cambria Mortgage in Minnesota. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Position is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans by soliciting business through multiple channels, negotiating price to meet company profitability objectives, while ensuring compliance with established lending policies and procedures.

  • Present Cambria Mortgage residential mortgage products to realtors, builders, and other housing related businesses in the Minnesota market.

  • Effectively solicit, track and monitor all leads generated and provided by Cambria Mortgage.

  • Identify new business opportunities to meet company goals.

  • Collaborate with operations team to ensure customer service, loan quality and targets are achieved and/or exceeded.

  • Maintain knowledge of compliance policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, finance or something similar.

Experience: At least 3 years of loan origination experience. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Proven track record in mortgage sales

  • Knowledge of loan products and underwriting guidelines

  • State loan originator license

  • Ability to develop strong and lasting relationships

  • Effective and tactful negotiating skills

  • Strong verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure and time deadlines

  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed

Physical Requirements:

  • Office position requiring telephone and computer use.

Travel Requirements: 

  • Travel required to networking or client events as well as to other Cambria locations.
