About the role: As a customer Success Intern, you'll be part of a cohort of interns across the company, participating in training, mentorship, and networking opportunities while contributing meaningfully to our client onboarding and success initiatives. We welcome students from all majors who are curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others succeed. This internship is ideal for those interested in client services, financial technology, and relationship management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Shadow onboarding specialists to observe client training sessions and learn best practices.
- Help organize and track onboarding milestones using internal tools and templates.
- Learn the basics of Morningstar Direct and related products
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve onboarding workflows.
- Help gather client feedback and summarize insights for the Customer Success team.

What We Look For:
- Between 0-2 years of work experience.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (graduating in 2026 or later).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Interest in client services, financial technology, or investment tools.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working independently and in team settings.
- Demonstrated leadership or involvement in campus organizations or previous internship experience is a plus.
- Must possess unrestricted right to work in the U.S. for this position.
- A Bachelor's degree completed no later than May 2026. All majors welcome.
- A deep customer focus, strong attention to detail, and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, strategic, and creative thinker with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and project management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to present to clients with sophisticated investment knowledge and business experience.
- Prior experience supporting financial practices, licensed data content, or financial software solutions is desirable.
- Must possess unrestricted right to work in the U.S. in this position
