Mopar Accessories, Competitive Benchmarking Analyst
The Competitive Benchmarking Analyst will have primary responsibility for supporting competitive analysis activities for Mopar Accessories across North American Stellantis brands. This role focuses on evaluating current production vehicle accessory offerings, identifying competitive gaps and trends, and providing data-driven insights that support future accessory portfolio planning and growth strategies.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting detailed competitive benchmarking assessments of OEM and aftermarket accessory offerings for current production vehicles.
- Researching competitor Build & Price sites, dealer-installed options, factory upfit programs, and retail accessory portfolios to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Supporting accessory portfolio reviews by gathering and organizing competitive product, pricing, feature, and packaging information.
- Monitoring competitor vehicle launches, accessory announcements, and industry trends to support ongoing portfolio strategy discussions.
- Developing competitive comparison reports, presentations, and executive summaries for Product Planning, Sales, Marketing, and Brand teams.
- Assisting with analysis of accessory pricing, content strategies, and package positioning across competitor vehicle lines.
- Supporting benchmarking activities related to off-road, truck, SUV, lifestyle, protection, appearance, and performance accessory categories.
- Maintaining competitive tracking databases, benchmarking templates, and reporting tools.
- Partnering with Product Planning teams to identify portfolio gaps, white-space opportunities, and future accessory recommendations.
You Will Have the Opportunity To:
- Gain hands-on experience in automotive product planning and competitive analysis.
- Work closely with Product Planning, Marketing, Sales, and Brand teams across multiple Stellantis vehicle brands including Jeep, Ram, Dodge, and Chrysler.
- Develop knowledge of automotive accessories, vehicle personalization trends, and competitive market strategies.
- Contribute to strategic decisions that influence future Mopar accessory portfolios and customer offerings.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in automotive, market research, data analysis, retail, or related business functions.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to gather, organize, and interpret large amounts of competitive information.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
