This role is remote within Romania. If you are based in Cluj-Napoca, you can also choose a hybrid setup and work from our office.
What you will do
- Design and implement enterprise monitoring solutions using PRTG Network Monitor.
- Deliver monitoring projects end-to-end, from requirements and architecture through implementation and handover.
- Configure sensors, dashboards, alerts, thresholds, and reporting to ensure effective system visibility.
- Analyze complex monitoring and infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Automate monitoring processes using PowerShell and APIs.
- Act as a technical consultant for customers and collaborate with infrastructure teams to improve monitoring standards and observability.
When you fit in with us
- 5 years of hands-on experience in monitoring, infrastructure, or a similar role.
- Strong PRTG and enterprise monitoring experience, including architecture, alerting, dashboards, and reporting.
- Proven experience delivering monitoring projects end-to-end.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, automation, and APIs.
- Good knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V, and networking, with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and customer consulting skills.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Experience with other monitoring platforms (Zabbix, SCOM, Checkmk, Grafana, Prometheus)

Skills Required
- 5 years of hands-on experience in monitoring, infrastructure, or a similar engineering role
- Strong experience with PRTG Network Monitor and enterprise monitoring concepts
- Hands-on knowledge of sensors, alerting, dashboards, and reporting
- Proficiency in PowerShell
- Good understanding of Windows Server
- Good understanding of VMware vSphere
- Good understanding of Hyper-V
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals
