The MoMo TechSpark Graduate Programme is a 12‑month immersive graduate programme created for young, bold, curious individuals who want to learn, build, think out of the box, and help shape the digital financial ecosystem that millions rely on. Essential Responsibilities/Output of The Programme
Foundational Onboarding: Introduction to business, culture, and digital strategy
Technical Academies: In-depth training in areas such as Cloud, Data & AI, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Networks & Infrastructure
Rotations: Placement across different technical and commercial units to gain diverse experience
Real Project Assignments: Hands-on delivery of business-impacting technology projects
Mentorship & Coaching: Guidance from senior engineers and people leaders
Professional Certification Support: Access to learning platforms and certification pathways
Performance Checkpoints: Quarterly reviews and development planning.
Uphold MoMo PSB policies, including confidentiality, information security, ethical conduct, and responsible use of systems and development environments.
Actively participate in technical and professional development activities, applying learning to build competence in software development, systems support, application management, and digital tools.
Assist teams with coding tasks, application testing, debugging, documentation, and basic system analysis during rotations across IT functions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on technology‑enabled projects, supporting process improvements, data gathering, user requirements, and solution development.
Gain exposure to leadership interactions through select meetings, demos, or project reviews, and support with preparing technical briefs, progress updates, or presentations.
Contribute to departmental and organisational activities, participate in knowledge‑sharing sessions, and support IT operational tasks as assigned to strengthen business and technology understanding.
To qualify for the programme, applicants must meet the following:
Education:
A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM fields
Must have completed NYSC (or be in the final stages of completion)
Experience:
0–2 years of post-NYSC experience
Skills:
Foundational programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL).
Basic understanding of software development, APIs, debugging, testing, and version control (Git).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Introductory knowledge of systems, databases, cloud concepts, and IT infrastructure.
Good communication and teamwork skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
Attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to learn quickly.
User‑centric mindset and understanding of how technology supports business needs.
