Leidos is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support groundbreaking missions at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) and the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. What You'll Do:
As a key contributor to our team, you will:
- Dive deep into research on foreign satellite systems to uncover critical insights.
- Develop cutting-edge space and counter-space models and simulations that shape intelligence analysis objectives.
- Assess the technical capabilities and potential of foreign space systems to inform impactful decision-making.
- Integrate advanced space models and vehicle components into current modeling environments.
- Deliver high-confidence solutions to complex challenges in space systems analysis.
Skills We Value:
We are looking for exceptional individuals who bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and less than 2 years of experience in Modeling & Simulation (M&S). Additional experience, certifications, or trainings may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and related toolboxes for designing and documenting simulations.
- Proficiency in both C++ (3+ years) and Python (2+ years) to support innovative development.
- A collaborative mindset and strong analytical skills to thrive both independently and within dynamic teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, these will set you apart:
- An active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
- Advanced educational credentials such as a BS or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience within the Intelligence Community at NASIC/NSIC.

Pay Range:Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
