BAE Systems is looking for a Modeling and Simulation Architect for our Huntsville, Alabama office. The Modeling and Simulation Architect will work with a team of engineers, training developers, modeling & simulation experts, and instructors to develop integrated technical solutions to military customers. The position is hybrid and will require at least 3 days per week in the office. The successful candidate will have a combination of modeling and simulation expertise, engineering knowledge, and business strategy experience.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Education: At least a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or systems engineering (Master's/PhD preferred)
Experience: 10+ years' experience in defense/aerospace systems engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership
Key Skills:
- Certified Solution Architect (formal Shipley Training) or equivalent with key credentials in domain (i.e. AWS/Azure, INCOSE CSEP, DoD enterprise architecture certification)
- Modeling and Simulation for military end-users
- Engineering process management
- Architecture design and development
- Program engineering planning and execution
- High-Level Architecture (HLA) for communications
- Customer and team communications
- Understanding of system integration, system administration, system testing, and configuration management

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $136000 - $231200
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
