About this job:

Modelling Analysts run models that help clients understand the impact of their marketing strategy. Your insights will drive decisions for top companies and have an impact on our media business. In this role you will be known as a modelling expert and trusted partner to client consultants. 


A little about you:

Curiosity drives your interest in what media spending increases sales. You are inquisitive and always ask why. Problem-solver by nature, balancing soft skills with analytical thinking is your strength. You are well-organized, accurate and have solid communication and listening skills that help you explain technical issues to less technical project stakeholders. 

Responsibilities:

  • Independent execution of complex Marketing Mix Modelling projects for European markets (Prepare data, Process data, Validate data ensuring consistency & data accuracy and deliver a ready client deck with data reviews to the consulting team), which includes running econometric models on Nielsen modelling platforms. Validate Marketing Mix Model results from both statistical and business perspective.
  • Lead in project set up & cooperate with client consultants and project managers based in various locations to define the best approach and deliver up to schedule and as per requirements.
  • Oversee and manage complex projects in various European countries.
  • Participate in internal meetings providing project support to consulting teams, explain model results and advise on client recommendations for better decisions on marketing activities and investments. 
  • Build and share expertise on mix modelling.
  • Train and support more junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • 2+years work experience in econometric modelling/similar field.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Very good English skills (written & spoken)
  • MS Office proficiency required. Very good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Autonomous & Curious (willingness to learn and discover new areas).
  • Nice to have experience in the media industry, market research, data and measurement.
  • Ability (and/or experience) to manage projects would be an asset. 
  • Programming skills and experience (R, Python, SAS) would be an asset.
