About the Intern Program:

As an intern, you will help lead projects that help shape the future of OCC. This person will apply their skill set and knowledge toward tackling designated projects. This is an exciting opportunity to have a true impact on the company by designing and implementing solutions for real challenges facing the business. Here's what we're looking for:
Projects and Responsibilities:

• Creation of risk calculation domain-specific language abstraction to facilitate collaborative development
• Performance tuning of Binomial tree-based Option pricing calculations
• Extraction and modeling of large financial data sets and automate trace data lineage given data transformation logic
• Design and implement automated reporting of production vs benchmark discrepancies and root cause analysis results.
• Optimize and improve PowerShell scripting-based workflow management

Candidate Qualifications:

• Desired major(s): Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics/statistics/Engineering
• Technical experience desired: SQL, C#, .NET, JavaScript and UI development, R
• Communications skills across functional knowledge domains

What knowledge and skills will the intern gain from this internship?

• Will gain knowledge and experience in Model Risk Management Validation Tools by participating in many aspects of model risk management activity, with focus on designing, building and using tools to systematically benchmark and challenge OCC's risk modeling
• Will gain knowledge in developing and leveraging risk domain specific, graph- based language and platform
