This position Modality Manager, Imaging is part of the D&M Modality team located in Shanghai and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Product Portfolio (Amersham Typhoon, IQ800) Strategy shaping incl. persona analysis, product VPP, segmentation, product commercial strategy building, product gap identification and NPD plan build up. Product Brand Promotion with MKT team: Enhance the visibility and perception of Cytiva and Amersham branding and capabilities within the market, e.g. co-build Demo Lab with KOL and PIs. Represent the company at relevant conferences and technical exhibitions to promote product/solution and company. Product commercial execution: Financial and demand forecast, Install Base/ Win Rate / Funnel analysis, KPI bowler tracking to deliver product yearly target. Is accountable to achieve Product order and sales OP target for greater China. Regularly provides update to team on company, region product strategies and customer insights. Sales Tools and Training: Lead the team to provide the sales team and channel partners with necessary tools, training, and resources to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness. Team Management: It’s a people manager role with 3 expertise to fix product issues in customer site with team standard work, culture building, team resources management, talent development plan, team performance management. providing a regular operating mechanism of feedback, coaching and managing the annual appraisal system. Is responsible to regularly have "infield coaching" sessions with each one of their team members. Provides regular, timely and productive development feedback. Create regular opportunities to involve the team to share best practices on opportunity management. Is role-model to team for utilizing Cytiva resources and networks to create and manage opportunities. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams incl. global team to get problem solved or opportunity identified. Localization process and Innovation: drive the localization process forward and integrate regional insights into product development, incl. BC preparation, global team alignment, Want workshops, VPM activities with core team. DBS Kaizen Events: as leader to actively participate or lead in DBS events Compliance: Adhere to and uphold highest standards of compliance to relevant international and local Regulatory. Adhere to all applicable Cytiva and Danaher compliance policies, codes and training requirements. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Master’s Degree of Biology and minimum 5 years of work experience as a commercial role/customer facing job (sales, marketing, product management, modality) At least 1.5 years of people leader experience in a life sciences or healthcare field. Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization Solid product management and portfolio strategy experience with strategic thinking is preferred. Good time management and resource management skill and cross team collaboration capability. Excellent communication and written skills in both Mandarin and English, tailored for technical and non-technical audiences. Interesting in DBS and willing to learn/implement Able to travel
