ROLE SUMMARY
As a MoCap Supervisor, you will work closely with our Virtual Production Supervisor and Head of Virtual Production to manage Motion Capture shoots, our tracking system, and various aspects of our Virtual Production initiatives. Your detailed knowledge of Motion Tracking Systems, Cameras, Unreal Engine and ICVFX pipelines will make you a crucial asset to our team during MoCap Shoots, Pre-lights, Productions, Performance Tests, Pre-vis, Tech-vis, and R&D Initiatives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Collaborate with the Virtual Production Supervisor and Head of Virtual Production to manage all technical aspects of Motion Capture shoots.
- Oversee and operate tracking systems, cameras, and related equipment during virtual production shoots.
- Support Pre-lights, Productions, Performance Tests, Pre-vis, Tech-vis, and R&D Initiatives.
- Ensure seamless technical operations during motion capture sessions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly and effectively to minimize downtime.
TO BE AN ALL-STAR
- Strong communication skills and a propensity to stay calm under pressure.
- Detailed understanding of tracking systems, cameras, and virtual production workflows.
- Experience on-set, preferably with Virtual Production or Games.
- Ability to take direction and deliver on client’s vision for MoCap shoots
- Detailed knowledge of Unreal Engine and ICVFX pipelines.
- Ability to efficiently clean up MoCap data
Bonus Points-Experience with additional media servers and advanced motion capture technologies.
