Position Overview

Welcome to the Web&Mobile team at LivePerson! We are a team of ten engineers located across four countries in The US and Europe.

We are looking for a Mobile Software Development Engineer with a proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, build partnerships that drive the business forward, and write code that is simple, understandable, and clean. You see feedback or failure as opportunities to learn and grow, believe in data-driven decision-making as the norm, and align with our core principles while working alongside Conversational AI experts.

We are looking for an individual who wants to do more than just code, but also shape and innovate!

You Will: Key Responsibilities & Impact
  • Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team (PM, UX, engineering) team to transform user stories into prototypes & production code
  • Design and Implement complex features in our mobile SDK and mobile apps
  • Offer the in-depth knowledge of the iOS platform that’s required by our product team
  • Identify & eliminate performance & scaling issues that ripple from front-end to back-end
  • Provide technical updates and leadership on the progress of mobile initiatives

 

You Have: Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of experience with native development for iOS
  • 5+ years of experience with Swift for iOS
  • Experience working with CoreData
  • Experience working with iOS Accessibility features
  • Experience in setting up CI/CD for the iOS apps
  • Experience working with Web Sockets is an advantage
  • Experience working with UI tests and UI test automation is an advantage
  • Experience with UIKit and Auto Layout
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience shipping customer facing apps to the App Store
  • Experience working with Objective-C and converting Objective-C to Swift is an advantage
  • Advanced familiarity with Versioning systems
  • Experience building native frameworks or SDKs that are used by other apps is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Android platform and/or a will to learn and become an expert in both Android and iOS is an advantage
