Job Description

Are you someone who thrives on variety, loves meeting new people, and brings positive energy wherever you go? If so, this roaming Receptionist role could be the perfect fit.

We’re looking for a confident, adaptable, and customer focused Receptionist to join our Front of House team, supporting a range of sites by covering both short  and long term absences. No two days will look the same — you’ll be the friendly face that keeps things running smoothly across multiple locations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • As a key ambassador for the organisation, you’ll deliver a warm, professional, and high quality welcome to every visitor and client. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Greeting guests with confidence, positivity, and genuine hospitality
  • Managing visitor flow and ensuring a seamless front of house experience
  • Handling queries with clarity, courtesy, and a can do attitude
  • Supporting the onsite Portico Management Team and maintaining service standards
  • Coordinating VIP visits and keeping guests informed throughout their journey
  • Producing accurate daily reports and ensuring smooth communication during handovers
  • Assisting with events, projects, and busy periods across various sites
  • Processing deliveries, managing incoming/outgoing mail, and carrying out post room duties
  • Following health & safety procedures and supporting emergency situations when required
  • Building strong working relationships with colleagues to deliver a consistent, high quality service
  • This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the action and takes pride in creating a polished, welcoming environment.

Hours: 40 hours per week, varying shifts between 7am-7pm.
Salary: £30,888 per annum
