About the Role:
We are looking for a Mobile QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality, reliable software. You will apply your experience and knowledge to transform requirements into actionable test plans and detailed test cases. This work will also result in reports and metrics, allowing us to improve continuously. In addition, you will have ownership over the quality of significant deliverables and will collaborate with multiple engineers and teams to drive success.
What you'll be doing:
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test reports
Implement Mobile Automated Tests for Android & iOS using Appium (WebdriverIO, NodeJS), or any equivalent framework e.g. XCUITest, Detox
Perform both manual and automated tests to ensure product quality
Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs
Promote a culture of quality work throughout the organization as a quality champion
Track quality assurance metrics and identify ways to improve
What you'll bring:
3+ years of experience in mobile automation testing (e.g., WebDriver/Selenium/Cypress)
3+ years of experience reviewing product requirements and design, creating test plans/ test cases, and testing mobile applications
2+ years of Appium experience
2+ years of JavaScript or TypeScript
High standards for coding and development best practices
Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of CI/CD
Experience testing pure API products (headless) is a plus
Software development experience is a plus

Compensation: Base pay range of $40,000 - $60,000 + equity with tremendous upside potential + Attractive benefits
The compensation offered for this role will depend on various factors, including the candidate's location, qualifications, work history, and interview performance, and may differ from the stated range.
