Holycode is looking for a Mobile QA Automation Engineer to join our bexio team who developed the perfect tool for managing small and medium-sized companies (SME).

About the Role
- We’re looking for a self-driven and motivated Test Automation Engineer with a strong interest in mobile testing for both iOS and Android platforms. In this role, you’ll contribute to both manual and automated testing efforts, playing a key part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products.
- You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA colleagues to identify bugs early, maintain a high standard of quality across the software development lifecycle, and help implement efficient testing processes.

Soft Skills

Technical Skills
- Experience in writing automation tests for mobile applications on both iOS and Android devices.
- Experience with writing and maintaining automated tests using Gherkin syntax.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and front-end frameworks.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and how to test them using modern tools.
- Strong experience with manual testing methodologies, including test case design and execution.
Nice to Have
- Experience in building mobile test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Basic knowledge of Java.
- Exposure to continuous integration and deployment tools (such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions).
- Experience with shell scripting.
- Familiarity with no-code or low-code test automation platforms and record-and-playback tools.

- Create and execute test cases for both mobile and web applications.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for iOS and Android.
- Perform end-to-end testing of REST APIs.
- Collaborate on behavior-driven development and help translate product requirements into test scenarios.
- Investigate issues, report bugs clearly, and track them through resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes.
- Help ensure consistent quality across different devices, platforms, and environments.
