About the Role
- Seeking a motivated, driven and hard-working, mobile iOS developer. It requires 5+ years of experience developing mobile iOS apps, good knowledge of network protocols like HTTP/S and Bluetooth and experience publishing apps on Apple’s AppStore. Very good knowledge and solid background on the iOS platform, ecosystem, APIs, services, features, packages, frameworks and networking technologies are expected. This includes good knowledge of low level APIs.The successful candidate will be required to engage and interact with several areas within Nielsen including QA teams, Backend processing systems, Operations, product owners, Product managers and business partners from around the world. This position is expected to bring industry best practices in areas such as source control, code review, automated unit test to name a few, to the team
Responsibilities
- Design and develop code for Nielsen’s iOS mobile digital and audio measurement applicationsHelp drive alignment between different teams and different mobile appsImplement best practices across a team of developers and testers Deliver efficient, quality software, excellent mobile performance and experience for our mobile app usersDrive mobile development and mentor junior team membersStay on top of technology change, able to assess impact, able to offer solutions and innovate in the mobile measurement spaceDeploy to Apple AppStore and monitor the Store stats for application healthProduction support for the existing apps in the Store
Key skills
- Should be a solid iOS developer with minimum 5 years’ experience in designing and implementing solutions for mobile iOS devices (iPhones, iPads)
- Excellent native iOS development experienceExcellent knowledge of Swift programming.
