Responsibilities
- Design, code, and maintain native and cross-platform mobile applications using frameworks like Flutter, React Native, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
- Develop complex game mechanics, physics simulations, and AI behaviors to create engaging interactive experiences for both 2D and 3D environments.
- Partner with UI/UX designers to build responsive, accessible, and visually consistent interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
- Architect modular and maintainable software solutions, ensuring code quality through adherence to industry best practices and comprehensive documentation.
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and cloud platforms, managing secure authentication, data synchronization, and offline capabilities.
- Manage local and cloud-based database systems to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and integrity across various devices.
- Execute rigorous testing protocols, including unit, integration, and performance testing, to identify and resolve defects prior to release.
- Optimize application performance by reducing memory footprint, improving startup times, and enhancing frame rates for smooth gameplay.
- Implement secure coding standards to protect user data through encryption and by mitigating common mobile security vulnerabilities.
- Oversee the deployment lifecycle, including version management, app store compliance, and post-launch monitoring and issue resolution.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, bug fixes, and feature updates to ensure compatibility with evolving operating systems and hardware.
- Research and evaluate new mobile technologies, prototyping innovative concepts to drive product improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams within an Agile development framework.
- Gather technical requirements for client-specific projects, delivering customized solutions that meet business goals and deadlines.
- Produce detailed technical documentation, including API references, architecture diagrams, and user guides.
- Offer technical support for production issues and mentor junior developers through code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Skills Required
- 0-2 years of mobile application or game development experience
- Experience with Flutter or React Native for cross-platform mobile development
- Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine for 2D/3D game development
- Ability to develop native Android and iOS applications (Android/iOS toolchains and languages)
