Responsibilities:
- Develop
and maintain customer and driver apps on iOS and Android.
- Implement
distributed state models, sync engines, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure
reliable background location tracking and push notifications.
- Handle
trip offers via real-time channels with robust UX.
- Guarantee
full RTL support for Arabic across both apps.
- Manage App
Store and Play Store publishing, compliance, and roll-outs.
- Optimize
performance, reliability, and recovery under challenging conditions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of mobile development with production apps on iOS and
Android.
- Experience with offline-first or sync-heavy mobile apps.
- Strong understanding of mobile lifecycle, background work, and push
notifications.
- Solid frontend engineering fundamentals in modern mobile/web
frameworks.
- Experience with RTL or bidirectional layouts.
- Working English; Arabic fluency is a strong plus.
- Experience with stack: React Native, Expo, TypeScript.
- Prior work on driver-facing or field-worker apps under poor network
conditions.
- Familiarity with real time libraries (Ably, Pusher, Socket.io).
- Map and geolocation experience (Mapbox, Google Maps).
- Native module development in Swift or Kotlin.
