Mobile Engineer

The team 

The team builds a driver-facing mobile application for daily navigation, routing, and location-based experiences, designed to perform reliably across regions, devices, and real-world driving conditions. The app is supported by scalable backend services and in-vehicle integrations that power routing optimization, location intelligence, and insights derived from aggregated usage patterns. The focus is on delivering a consistently high-quality mobile experience through strong engineering fundamentals and continuous improvement. 

The role 

We are looking for a Mobile Apps Developer to play a key role in the development of our next-generation mobile applications for Android and iOS. 

In this role, you will contribute to the architecture and implementation of Kotlin Multiplatform mobile apps, sharing core business logic across platforms while ensuring high-quality, native mobile experiences tailored to driver-centric use cases. 

What you will do? 

• Shape our mobile Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile App  
• Contribute to technical decisions across Android and iOS  
• Develop complex mobile functionality like GPS tracking, streaming and offline maps, content delivery, monetization, and social features 
• Work directly with product management and backend engineers 
• Make pragmatic technical decisions and move fast without sacrificing quality 
• You'll conduct code reviews and implement test automation that prevent distractions and maintain reliability 

• Hands-on experience using Kotlin Multiplatform in building scalable, performant, and memory-efficient mobile applications 
• Solid grasp of mobile platform fundamentals (lifecycle, background execution, permissions, sensors integration) 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, product-oriented mindset 
• Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams 
• Experience with automotive, navigation, mapping, or social applications is a plus, but not required
