Proof is a high-growth startup revolutionizing legal technology with a best-in-class platform trusted by thousands of law firms across the U.S. As we scale, we're looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to take ownership of our React Native applications, driving architectural decisions, performance optimizations, and feature development at scale.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, development, and evolution of Proof’s mobile applications using React Native, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Architect and optimize mobile app infrastructure, leveraging deep knowledge of iOS and Android ecosystems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver intuitive, high-impact user experiences.
- Enhance performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, memory issues, and platform-specific challenges.
- Drive best practices in mobile engineering, conducting thorough code reviews and mentoring team members.
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging technologies and bringing innovative ideas to improve our mobile stack.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of mobile development experience, including 3+ years in React Native, with a strong track record of building, launching, and maintaining high-quality mobile apps.
- Deep expertise in mobile architecture, performance optimization, and platform-specific development for iOS and Android.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience integrating native modules.
- A product-minded engineer who understands UX, user engagement, and mobile performance.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL (nice to have), and backend performance optimization.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and the app store submission process.
- A self-starter who thrives in an agile, high-growth environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Expo Application Services (EAS).
- Background in scaling mobile applications
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives.
