We are hiring a Team Lead to join an innovative travel tech startup serving the MENA region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading technical teams, driving delivery, and working in a modern, remote-friendly environment.
Job Purpose
We are seeking a Mid-Level Mobile Developer with a strong foundation in native development and a passion for building clean, maintainable, and scalable applications. Fluency in English is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities
You will play a key role in designing and building robust mobile applications that integrate seamlessly with our backend ecosystem. This includes:
- Developing native mobile applications for iOS and Android
- Implementing secure authentication flows using OAuth2 / OpenID Connect (Auth0 preferred)
- Integrating with Azure-based RESTful APIs
- Building offline-first capabilities where required
- Designing scalable, maintainable mobile architectures
- Contributing to how mobile systems interact with backend services—not just consuming APIs, but helping shape them
- Design and implement production-ready mobile applications
- Integrate APIs with proper error handling, retry strategies, and performance optimization
- Implement secure authentication and manage token lifecycles
- Ensure high standards of performance, responsiveness, and user experience
- Contribute to technical and architectural decisions
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers and product teams
- Native development: Swift (iOS) / Kotlin (Android)
- RESTful APIs hosted on Azure App Services
- Authentication via Auth0 (OAuth2 / OIDC)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Secure storage and token management
- App Store & Google Play deployment workflows
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in mobile development
- Strong experience in native or cross-platform mobile development
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and API-driven architecture
- Experience with OAuth2 / OpenID Connect (Auth0 is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of mobile security best practices
- Experience deploying applications to the App Store and Google Play
- Commitment to clean code and structured architecture principles
- Fluent English communication skills (required)
