Purpose of the role
To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
Accountabilities
- Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
- Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
- Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
- Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.

- Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
- Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as:
- Experience of Banking/financial industries
- Expert understanding of Data Pipeline building (Pyspark & Hadoop echo system, AWS)
- Exposure to Infrastructure and Cost optimization techniques on Cloud
- Understanding of MI, Machine learning technologies and solution
- Relational and NoSQL databases.
- Must have experience of working in an IT project environment, an understanding of IT and business strategies, governance and SDLC
- Advanced working knowledge of big data technologies like PySpark, hive, MLiB & Hadoop echo system
- Strong knowledge of full Hadoop/Spark, ETL, Data modelling, ApaaS skills.
- Hands on implementation of emerging cloud technologies in the AIML Space including but not restricted to AWS, Data Bricks, Snowflakes
- Experience in performing root cause analysis on internal and external processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- End-to-end software development lifecycle and methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile).
- Cloud/Machine language knowledge would be added advantage.

This role is based in Pune.
