Marketing Specialist JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for utilizing established marketing-based skills and talents to provide a broad range of support necessary to meet various business development efforts, including collateral development, online and offline advertising, video production, social media management, and other related tasks.
 
Marketing Specialist ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
* Helps develop and deploy marketing content, campaigns, and other projects within defined brand standards.
* Develops and maintains sales materials, including emails, flyers, brochures, and websites.
* Works with the Senior team members to create platform-specific social media content tailored for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms as appropriate.
* Produces short-form and long-form video content optimized for various channels.
* Assists with market research, vendor due diligence and various other research and analyses to improve department efficiencies and solutions.
* Acts as facilitator and liaison for bank and retail mortgage personnel to engage with various marketing tools, resources, and systems to help support the company's business development efforts.
* Helps manage new hire onboarding marketing process to get employees up to speed on marketing platforms, tools, and resources available.
* Exercises awareness regarding possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.
* Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.

Marketing Specialist REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
* Thorough knowledge of marketing strategies/tactics, both online and offline.
* Thorough knowledge of digital and/or social media platforms and best practices for each.
* Working knowledge of AI tools related to content creation, video editing, copywriting, and graphic design.
* Excellent attention to detail, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Copywriting and editing skills.
* Ability to create video content, including short-form vertical formats for social platforms and long-form video for campaigns, training, and brand storytelling.
* Ability to perform full lifecycle collateral development.
* Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects in process from beginning to completion.

Equivalent Education/Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Advertising or equivalent years of work experience.
* 2-4 years of Marketing experience.
* Experience developing social media content tailored to the strengths and audiences of specific platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, etc.).
* Previous financial industry or banking experience preferred.
* Social media experience preferred.
 
Marketing Specialist SPECIAL JOB DIMENSIONS:
Work requires ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while working in harmony with a wide range of personalities and taking proactive measures to meet heavy workloads. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
