All JerseySTEM roles are pro-bono (unpaid) positions.JerseySTEM is a mission-driven professional network of pro-bono contributors dedicated to improving access to STEM education and career pathways for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey.
Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organization’s gender-equity agenda.Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership. K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.
OverviewThis is a pro-bono volunteer position.
The Video Editor is responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a finished product as well as managing the logistics of the video production. They will develop, pitch, execute, and create ideas for new projects that aid the organization.
Responsibilities- Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing
- Manage Video Library
- Develop production schedules
- Collaborate with the marketing team and stakeholders to address needs in multimedia content
- Write scripts, manage budget, and hire talent
- Education related to this field
- 3+ years of experience
- Self-starter

- 3-5 hours per week, 6 months minimum
- This is a remote opportunity
