Job Type: Full-time

Reports to: Director of Communications & Engagement

Compensation: $36,000-$42,000

Job Summary: The Marketing & Digital Media Coordinator manages LMCA’s social media and digital

platforms, creates engaging content, supports brand visibility on digital platforms, promotes LMCA and

events, and strengthens outreach reflecting the mission of LMCA.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Manages and updates LMCA’s social media and digital platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), partnering with division leaders to keep content current.
  • Interfaces with CRM software to support website content, communications, ads, and related digital tools.
  • Develops and implements monthly content calendars; creates engaging posts, videos, stories, graphics, and impact/testimony content aligned with ministry events and values.
  • Works with division leaders to create monthly or quarterly community engagement and marketing plans.
  • Promotes LMCM events and ministries online and in the community; partners for cross-promotion; assists with digital campaigns for outreach, events, or giving.
  • Tracks and reports performance metrics (engagement, reach, traffic) and provides data-driven recommendations
  • Oversees LMCM’s online presence and digital reputation, including Google Business profiles, review platforms, SEO vendors, and related digital services; monitors accuracy, engagement, and performance and coordinates updates as needed.
  • Performs other duties as the supervisor deems necessary.

Objective Goals

  • Online Presence: Google Business profiles, review sites, SEO efforts, and related digital platforms are current, accurate, monitored, and aligned with LMCM brand standards and active, on-brand presence with consistent posting frequency agreed with supervisor.
  • Digital profiles current; comments/messages answered within agreed response time.
  • Monthly content calendar executed; high-quality content reflects LMCA values.
  • Regular engagement/marketing plans developed with division leaders.
  • Major events promoted; cross-promotion and digital campaigns supported.
  • Metrics tracked and reported on agreed cadence with clear improvement recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • 1–2 years of experience in professional or volunteer (church/ministry) social media content management.
  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or digital communications.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO, Google Business Profile management, and Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Familiarity with Google Search Console and interpreting website traffic, search performance, and digital engagement metrics.
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Ability to analyze digital performance and use insights to inform marketing strategies and improve online visibility.

Portfolio Requirements:

  • Must provide links to 2–3 social media campaigns or accounts they have managed.
  • Examples of SEO, website optimization, or Google Business Profile work are preferred.

Skills Required

  • 1-2 years of professional or volunteer social media content management experience
  • 1-2 years of marketing, advertising, or digital communications experience
  • Hands-on experience with SEO
  • Hands-on experience managing Google Business Profiles
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4
  • Familiarity with Google Search Console
  • Ability to interpret website traffic, search performance, and digital engagement metrics
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
