As a Financial Accountant or Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll go beyond getting things right—you will identify opportunities to enhance how we work and deliver meaningful improvements. Role Summary:
You will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely finance outputs to stakeholders, including management members, other department heads, and global/regional head offices. Working closely with regional teams, you will help resolve accounting issues and support initiatives that improve processes and strengthen our financial foundation.
Job Descriptions:
- Manage expense accounting and accounts payable:
- Oversee accounts payable workflow system to ensure timely and accurate processing
- Review payment invoices and prepare journal entries
- Execute payments through online banking systems
- Reconcile accounting payables, prepayment and accruals
- Provide support across the team’s accounting and FP&A activities, including:
- Revenue accounting and accounts receivable
- Monthly closing – ledger reconciliations, balance fluctuations analysis etc.
- Audit and tax filing
- Management accounting –monthly dashboards, expense analysis etc.
- Other – contribute to accounting transformation initiatives, inter-company activities, and ad-hoc projects as requested by Head of Finance.
Required Skills & Experiences (must have):
- Ability to communicate effectively in Japanese and English and collaborate with regional/global teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proactive mindset to identify and implement process improvements.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including (i) financial statements, (ii) journal entries, general ledgers and trial balances, (iii) reconciliations, and (iv) tax basics.
Desirable Skills & Experiences (nice to have):
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
- Familiarity with automation tools or data analytics.
- Experience in financial services industry.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Exposure to IFRS and JGAAP reporting requirements, including familiarity with consolidation processes.
- CPA or other accounting certification.

Over time:
0-40 hours/month.
Salary:
Based on our Work Rules, we will consider your experience, skills and knowledge when we decide the salary.
Commutation allowance and Variable Incentive Bonus are paid based on our Work Rules.
Working Hours:
Standard Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Include 1 hour break. Flex-time system available)
